Todd has worked for Pfizer since 1999 in the Field Sales Force. Despite winning awards and transitioning through various specialty positions he has remained focused on being an information resource and mentor to new representatives across all Pfizer sales divisions. Currently, Todd is a Senior Oncology Specialty Representative for the Oncology Business Unit in New York, New York and has responsibility for oncology customers that include world renowned oncology institutions, like the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
On his assignment with Global Business Coalition for HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GBC), Todd will be working on a new two-phase strategic partnership between the GBC and the State Department, Office of Global Women's Issues entitled, Healthy Women, Healthy Economies (HWHE). The multifaceted strategic partnership will bring together top corporations, governments and NGOs to redefine and shape a powerful agenda for corporate investment into expanded and improved health outcomes for women and girls across the globe. During the first phase, Todd plans to help blend the collaborative opportunities generated from the global business action plan of this partnership with the Presidents Global Health Initiative. Todd hopes this experience will strengthen his communication skills, promote and actualize the strengths of diversity by sharing best practices, and improve his understanding of the value associated with the strategic planning process. Todd plans to integrate the experiences and knowledge gained via his epidemiology and public health training while deployed on a Disaster Medical Assistance Team to make a positive impact on women and girls' health during this Fellowship.
GBC is a Coalition of more than 220 companies united to keep the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria a global priority. The Coalitions members share learning and knowledge from the front lines of the fight, and GBC provides tailored support so that companies can take an active role in defeating the pandemics. GBC also organizes collective actions among companies, and links the public and private sectors in ways that pool talents and resources. GBC represents the private sector to the Global Fund.
